Introduction:

It's time to take a look at your We Seed Portfolio and see how it's doing. Remember, We Seed is not about getting rich... it's about getting smart. But it's still fun to see how much fake cash you're making! In the time that you have been using We Seed, you might have made money on investments that you now think were not so smart, and lost money on investments that you still believe were absolute genius... and that is perfectly OK! The whole point of working with We Seed is to invest in what you know, learn more by doing and reading and talking, and repeat. In this Challenge, you will step back, take a look at your investments, and give your Portfolio a grade.

Overview:

This lesson requires the students to analyze the performance of their investments. A key We Seed Principle reinforced in this lesson is that investing in stocks and decisions about investment holdings should not be driven by short-term gains and losses.

Learning Objectives:

• Develop analytical skills
• Justify investment decisions and strategy

Learning Environment:

The exercise should be conducted in a computer lab or as a homework assignment.
