Introduction:

In this lesson, you will apply what you've learned in lessons 1 and 2 to identify companies and research performance to make informed investment decisions. Today is when the fun starts - it's time to invest!

Overview:

Students will build portfolios by investing $10,000 in We Seed cash. They will be asked to record the details of their investments and explain their rationale.

Learning Objectives:

• Learn how personal perception and performance research can lead to informed investment decisions
• Gain an understanding for the basic process of buying (fake) stock
• Be able to explain rationale behind investment decisions

Learning Environment:

The exercise should be conducted in a computer lab or as a homework assignment.

45 minutes

Students should have satisfactorily completed all previous lessons.
