Green Day (WMG) will join MTV games Harmonix (VIA) with the second-ever Rock Band special edition game for consoles Xbox 360, PlayStation and Wii. The game will feature Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tre Cool and allow fans to play songs from the group's catalog, visit venues and view artwork that are vital to their success. This game will appeal to fans of all ages, including those who love their recent bestselling albums and those who've loved Green Day throughout their long, incredible career. The release date is yet to be announced and no track list has been revealed yet, but all songs will span across their eight-studio-album career. The game???s main competitor, Guitar Hero (ATVI), has three titles branded to bands, Aerosmith, Metallica, Van Halen, as well as Band Hero, DJ Hero and its latest regular edition, Guitar Hero 5. Do you think it will be a ???green day??? for the game-makers?

Warner Music Group (WMG) has teamed up with the online video and show streamer Hulu, jointly owned by NBC Universal, in which a controlling stakes will be acquired by Comcast (CMCSA), News Corp. (NWS) and Disney (DIS). The partnership will feature a roster of artist talent from labels like Atlantic Records, Warner Bros. and Rhino Records. Warner Music will provide music videos, live concerts, interviews and rare behind-the-scenes footage for artist pages featured on the online video site. The alternative rock band, Muse is the first to have a page stocked with music videos and live performances. The deal also calls for artist pages for Jason Mraz and Paramore to be launched in 2010, with more WMG artists to follow in the New Year. Hulu is the first and only video streaming site to reach a deal with Warner Music Group and already has a deal with EMI group (privately held)???so two down, two major labels to go. Do you think you these stocks will soar with hulu on under their wing?

Due to ???overwhelming and unprecedented??? demand, the release date for the soundtrack to New Moon on Chop Shop/Atlantic Records (WMG) will be pushed up four days to Friday, Nov. 16th, according to a press release. The album features exclusive contributions from Death Cab for Cutie, Muse, Thom Yorke, Lykke Li, Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear and Editors. This gives you more than a month to learn the words to every last song in advance of New Moon's theatrical release on Nov. 20th. The 2008 soundtrack for the first film in the 'Twilight' series debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart and sold more than 3.5 million copies. Think the New Moon soundtrack will rock WMG???s stock?

The Zune (MSFT) is basically an iPod (AAPL) knockoff, but with one major difference: The Zune offers a monthly plan called the Zune Pass. The Zune Pass allows a user unlimited downloads of music, and costs $14.99 per month. Zune Pass users will be able to select up to ten tracks each month -- the music can come from studios including EMI Music, Sony Music (SNE) Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group (WMG). As you might guess, though, there's a catch: You can't burn any of the downloaded songs onto a disc, and you can't listen to any of the downloaded music if you discontinue the monthly Zune Pass. But there's a catch to the catch: You get to keep 10 of the songs for forever. So basically, you???re paying only five bucks for the unlimited downloads (that expire if you choose to stop using Zune Pass) and you???re purchasing 10 songs. So what do you think? Is the Zune Pass really worth it? Do you use iPod or Zune?
