Rubicon Technology Inc (RBCN)

All Latin students know that Caesar crossed the Rubicon and said "alea iacta est (the die is cast)." They also eventually figure out that the ability to speak Latin is a completely worthless skill when it comes to meeting women. Rubicon Technology provides sapphire substrates and components that are used to produce LEDs, RF integrated circuits, and other optical applications. LEDs are used for mobile device displays, digital camera flashes, backlighting for monitors and televisions, and traffic symbols. Rubicon clearly knows the value of a cool Latin reference, but clearly it's putting the rest of its money into sapphire.
