Pier 1 is a home decor retailer championing its candles, vases, and large-ticket, bedroom-set items. Some think of this as the budget friendly, unpretentious Crate and Barrel. Pier 1 has 1,076 stores in the United States, 84 stores in Canada. Although not exactly global, sorry Canada, it's leagues bigger than Cost Plus but about $7B shy of Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Did I mention its candles?
