From dolls to the remote control trucks that run over them, Mattel makes a range of toys that your kids will destroy or lose. Distributor of Barbie, High School Musical, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Tyco, Fisher-Price, Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer, and Winnie the Pooh, Mattel makes more toys than the North Pole.
This was probably inevitable, but now it appears that the Kardashians are set to make the final push in their bid for pop-culture supremacy: becoming Barbie dolls. Yes, according to Us Weekly Kim, Khlo?? and Kourtney are set to be immortalized as Barbie's pals in a "limited-edition" series of dolls. The Kardashian Barbies are in the works and should be available later this year. They added that the limited-edition dolls are unofficially being referred to as "Dash dolls," since they'll be outfitted in fashions that can be purchased at the Kardashian's Dash boutiques (of course). There's yet to be any sort of official confirmation from Mattel (MAT) about the Kardashian dolls. What do you think of the Kardashians getting their own Barbie dolls?

It's the latest innovation for a brand that's been selling in toy stores for more than 40 years. Called Stealth Rides, these toy cars are Mattel???s (MAT) first-ever folding Hot Wheels. There are five different models of Stealth Riders, including two cars, two tanks and a "Batmobile Tumbler???. The new Stealth Rides are about the size of a credit card and as thin as a cell phone. All five Stealth Rides fold flat and slide out of a plastic case that functions as both a carrying case and a remote control. With the push of a button, the "flat" cars transform into three-dimensional, fully functioning remote-control vehicles. The Hot Wheels Stealth Rides will hit stores in August, priced at about $25 per car. Do you know any kids that would dig these rides?
