My girlfriend works for the EB and she says the new First Ascent line is selling like crazy at her store. I think their return to their roots (high end outdoor gear) will help them shore up their identity that they abandoned in the mid-90's to sell "mom clothes." They've been listed as a brand that's expected to disappear by 2010, but I've got some faith in their ability to reposition themselves in the marketplace. Plus they have retail's best return policy (lifetime guarantee, no receipt required- even if they don't make the item anymore!) so I'll support these guys till the end.
