If you've got a kid, you're likely familiar with the output of Dreamworks Animation. The company is the mastermind behind many of the most successful recent animated films, such as: Shrek, Wallace & Gromit, Antz, and Flushed Away. Founded in 1985, Dreamworks also holds strategic partnerships with McDonald's and Kellogg.
does anyone of think Dream works animation should have a Back story on one of the other characters from shrek besides puss in boots
Just two weeks after Best Buy (BBY) trumpeted the release of DreamWorks Animation???s (DWA) Kung Fu Panda 2 in ads listing the Blu-ray combo pack for $22.99, a new ad for the consumer-electronics retailer now lists the pack for $14.99, a 35% discount. The price reduction was prompted by strong demand for the feature at Redbox (CSTR) kiosks, where it was No. 1. So the question here, would you rather rent or own?
Dreamworks Animation has done nothing but lose me money. I'm honestly a little frustrated! Shrek is Dreamworks! Like the Christmas hit "Shrek The Halls." I don't understand why they are always losing money. Come on Dreamworks!!!!
When you don???t succeed try, try again. Marvel (DIS) is once again putting live-action Punisher plans into motion???except this time, the flesh-and-blood spirit of vengeance is setting his sights on the small screen instead of the big one: Deadline reports that Fox (NWS) has put a Punisher television series into development. It's too soon to tell if this Punisher will succeed where other versions have failed, but based on Deadline's description of the premise, I'm not feeling optimistic. The TV series, which has a put pilot commitment, will reportedly follow Frank Castle as "a rising star detective with the New York Police Department who moonlights as the vigilante Punisher, seeking justice for those the system has failed." It may work, but only if it's being done right. Hire someone with some weight and experience to play Frank???I hear former SVU star Chris Meloni is available these days, or maybe Tom Jane can even take another crack if his Hung schedule allows. What do you think of this?

i've been watching Dreamworks Animation my whole life and i thought that they would be a big hit in the stock market. Because everybody watches it. i guess i was wrong.
I dont know if it is a good idea keep investing in this company. I like their movies, but the next one comes out until November...
if you look at the track record, its a volatile stock b/c of the ups and downs, ins and outs of movies. as soon as they get a hit, the stock rebounds. its only a matter of time. Buy Low, Sell High =]
