In an effort to provide a better way for people to surf the web, Google (GOOG) and its partners are looking to become the latest players to bring Web content onto your television with ???Google TV.??? The Web search giant, along with Intel (INTC) and Sony (SNE), would integrate applications like Twitter and the Picasa photo site onto TV screens. Google is testing a new TV-search service with Dish Network Corp. (DISH) that is designed to allow users to find shows on the satellite-TV service as well as video from websites such as Google???s YouTube. Google also would open its Android smartphone operating system to developers to use for the television project. Projects based on the software could begin popping up as early as this summer. How do you feel about ???Google TV????
