Nothing good on TV? It's not Comcast's fault - this cable provider also provides phone and high-speed internet services. The Philly-based company also owns and operates the E! channel for the ladies and The Golf Channel for the men (although we acknowledge that we're trafficking in broad gender stereotypes, and for that we apologize). And did you know Comcast also owns the Philadelphia 76ers and ticket vendor Fandango? Who knew?
this company is..risky. one minute you'll gain a ton and the next you'll be losing money.

Comcast is a great corporation, however, they really need to expand the regions in which the offer service so that consumers who live in more rural areas aren't limited to weaker, less reliable companies such as DirecTv or Dish Network.
Tori Spelling is coming to Daytime TV. She has a new gig. ABC (DIS) thinks Spelling would make an awesome talk show host, so they're creating one for her. The program, which is in the very early stages of development, would feature Spelling and a male co-host. She already stars in her own reality show on Oxygen, owned by NBC universal which is jointly owned by General Electric (GE) and Comcast (CMCSA), with husband Dean McDermott, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. Would you watch Tori Spelling???s talk show? Or is this too much for the mother of two?

A major shakeup appears to be in the works for NBC's late-night lineup. After weeks of gossip, its official, NBC (CMCSA) is canceling The Jay Leno Show effective Feb. 12th. Leno fans, no need to fear???he???s not leaving the network, just the timeslot. Leno is being pulled from prime time and going back to late night. The reason for the change is that the late night ratings have decreased in the past three months after Leno???s move to prime time. Hosts Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon would each have their shows pushed back accordingly. There has been no decision made as to whether or not Leno would host The Tonight Show or O???Brien will remain the host. What do you think of NBC???s game of late night musical chairs?
There???s clearly no escape from reality TV???now it???s coming to the Internet. The people who brought American Idol to TV are now bringing reality singing to the net. The show will follow the lives of five aspiring actors and musicians who move to Hollywood in search of stardom. Their daily activities will be shown live on a Web site, IfICanDream.com, and they will communicate with viewers via blog posts and social networks. What do you think? Will you watch the reality-web show? Or is it a crazy idea?
Warner Music Group (WMG) has teamed up with the online video and show streamer Hulu, jointly owned by NBC Universal, in which a controlling stakes will be acquired by Comcast (CMCSA), News Corp. (NWS) and Disney (DIS). The partnership will feature a roster of artist talent from labels like Atlantic Records, Warner Bros. and Rhino Records. Warner Music will provide music videos, live concerts, interviews and rare behind-the-scenes footage for artist pages featured on the online video site. The alternative rock band, Muse is the first to have a page stocked with music videos and live performances. The deal also calls for artist pages for Jason Mraz and Paramore to be launched in 2010, with more WMG artists to follow in the New Year. Hulu is the first and only video streaming site to reach a deal with Warner Music Group and already has a deal with EMI group (privately held)???so two down, two major labels to go. Do you think you these stocks will soar with hulu on under their wing?
