MILWAUKEE (AP) - Staffing agency Manpower Inc. said its fourth-quarter earnings plunged 62 percent with employers still fearful of taking on more workers and unemployment hovering around 10 percent.



FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - D.R. Horton Inc. said it posted a profit for the first time since 2007 with a gain of $192 million in the first fiscal quarter.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Lexmark International Inc. said that cost cutting helped boost its fourth-quarter profit, beating Wall Street forecasts and lifting the printer and copier maker's shares by 11 percent in premarket trading.



MENTOR, Ohio (AP) - Medical products maker Steris Corp. said its profit rose 44 percent in the fiscal third quarter compared with a year ago, when it was cutting costs by reorganizing international operations.



ST. LOUIS (AP) - Emerson Electric Co. said its first-quarter earnings and revenue fell 7 percent led by a steep falloff in sales for its industrial automation products.
